Terms of Service

Thank you for visiting shunnk.com. The following Terms explain the rules for using this Site and buying from us, including how orders are formed, prices and payment, shipping, cancellations, returns, warranties and how disputes are handled. They are accepted when you browse the Site or complete a purchase.

1. Age Requirement

Purchases may only be made by persons aged 18 or over who can lawfully enter into contracts. This Site is not intended for children under the age of 13, in line with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, and we do not knowingly collect their data. When you place an order you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to use the chosen payment method.

2. The Seller

Shunnk is the trading name of Christopher Lee Shunk, an individual seller located at 817 Alan Miller Drive, Confluence, PA 15424, United States. We sell premium barbecue and grilling gear online through this Site. 3. Returns and Cancellation

You may cancel an order free of charge before the order ships and return most items within 90 days of delivery for a refund or exchange. Items must be unused and in their original packaging; certain products are non-returnable for hygiene or legal reasons. Returns are free — we cover return shipping. Returns are sent to 817 Alan Miller Drive, Confluence, PA 15424, United States. Approved refunds are issued 5–10 business days after we receive and inspect the item to the original payment method, and refunds for cancelled orders within 7 business days. Damaged, defective or incorrect items are replaced or refunded at our cost. The complete Return and Refund Policy is part of these Terms and is presented to you before checkout.

4. Payment

Accepted payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay. All transactions are handled by Shopify Payments (powered by Stripe) using industry-standard encryption; card details never touch our systems. Charges are made at the time of order and show on your card statement as SHUNNK.COM. Orders may be held for verification when the billing and shipping details do not match or our provider detects unusual activity; we will contact you if we need anything. For any billing question, write to info@shunnk.com and we will look into it right away.

5. Shipping

Delivery is available to the United States. Processing takes 1–2 business days, then 7–16 business days with Standard Shipping (USD 9.90; free from USD 69) or 7–13 business days with Express Shipping (USD 29.44). Tracking is provided for every shipment. Should a shipment be delayed beyond the promised date, we tell you in advance and you may cancel free of charge for a full refund, as required by the FTC Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule. 6. Orders and Contract Formation

When you complete checkout you make an offer to purchase the items in your cart. We confirm receipt by email and accept the offer by dispatching the goods; until then either party may cancel. We reserve the right to refuse an order — for example if a product is out of stock, a price was displayed incorrectly, our fraud checks are not satisfied, or the delivery address is outside our shipping regions — and in that case we refund you in full within 7 business days. Quantity limits may apply to some products.

7. Prices, Taxes and Currency

Prices are quoted in USD and can change without notice, but the price you see when you order is the price you pay. Applicable taxes (calculated at checkout based on the shipping address) and any shipping charge appear at checkout before payment, so the final total is always visible before you commit. Promotional "was" prices are genuine prior prices. Should an obvious pricing mistake occur, we are not obliged to sell at the wrong price: we will tell you and let you decide whether to proceed.

8. Limitation of Liability

Our responsibility to you for any order is capped at the price you paid for it, and we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses — such as lost profits or lost data — to the extent the law lets us exclude them. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for personal injury or death caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that consumer protection law does not allow us to limit. Where your state or country does not permit some of these exclusions, they apply to you only as far as the law allows.

9. Warranty

We provide the limited warranty set out in our Return and Refund Policy. Except for that warranty, and to the fullest extent the law allows, we make no other express warranties, and implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose are limited to the duration of the limited warranty. Some states do not allow such limitations, so they may not apply to you; this warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may have others that vary by state. Consistent with the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, nothing in these Terms disclaims implied warranties while a written warranty is in effect.

10. Acceptable Use and Reviews

Use the Site lawfully and in good faith: no fraudulent or unauthorized orders, no attempts to breach security, no automated scraping, no abuse of discounts. Reviews on our product pages come from customers who bought the product; we take reasonable steps to verify them and never commission fake reviews. Content you submit must be truthful and yours; you allow us to publish it and we may remove anything inappropriate.

11. Products and Availability

Descriptions, specifications and photographs are provided in good faith and are as accurate as we can make them; small differences in color or finish can result from photography, lighting and display settings. Shunnk sells generic, unbranded products; references to third-party brands, if any, describe compatibility and imply no endorsement. Listing an item does not guarantee stock. Where an item sells out after you order, you may wait, choose an alternative or receive a full refund.

12. Our Content

All content on the Site — text, product descriptions, photographs, graphics, logos and the Shunnk name — is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use only. Reproducing, distributing or using our content for any other purpose without written permission is prohibited. If you believe content on the Site infringes your rights, email info@shunnk.com with the details and we will respond promptly.

13. Law and Disputes

These Terms and any purchase are governed by the laws of the State of Pennsylvania and applicable U.S. federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and by the Pennsylvania Unfair Trade Practices and Consumer Protection Law, 73 P.S. § 201-1 et seq. where it applies. Please contact us first at info@shunnk.com: almost every issue is resolved by our support team within a few days. Arbitration agreement. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, you and we agree that it will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its consumer rules, rather than in court, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court. Class action waiver: claims may be brought only in an individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class or representative proceeding. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing us within 30 days of your first purchase. This section is governed by the Federal Arbitration Act. Nothing in this section prevents you from filing a complaint with the consumer protection office of your state attorney general or with the Federal Trade Commission.

15. Other Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time; the version in force when you place an order applies to that order, and the current version is always available on the Site with its "last updated" date. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder continues in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms, together with the policies incorporated by reference, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Site and your purchases. You may not assign your rights under these Terms; we may assign ours to a successor of the business.
